This app collects the public pages you liked and the public groups you are a part of.
This data includes the name and url of the groups and pages you are a member of.
The app allows You to create an account and log in to use the Service through your Facebook account.
Allowing us to login through your Facebook account allows us to collect Personal data that is already associated with Your Facebook account, such as Your name, and Your email address.
You may also have the option of sharing additional information such as the public Facebook pages you liked and the public Facebook groups you are a member of with the app through Your Facebook account. If You choose to provide such information, You are giving the Company permission to use, aggregate and store it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
A one-time login to Your Account: to obtain information on public Facebook pages you liked and public Facebook groups you are a member of.
To aggregate and identify popular groups/pages within your diaspora community, which includes obtaining publicly accessible posts from these groups/pages.
To contact You: In case you provide consent to being contacted, your email will be stored and might be used to reach out to you.
For other purposes: We may use Your aggregated information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends in your community, and to publish scientific reports documenting these trends.
We will never share Your personal information (name and email) with any third party without your consent.
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
The Company will also retain aggregate data for internal analysis purposes. Aggregate Data is generally retained for a longer period of time, for up to 24 months
